While I was there, I as only able to sample the caramel sauce and it was yummy! Perfect for spooning out of the jar just for the sauce alone or pouring over ice cream, pies, apple slices or anything your heart desires.

As for their infamous molten chocolate cake. Wow, I was impressed! Decadence in a jar! I came back later to sample this as they were getting the oven going. It comes in a small glass jar that you just put in the oven to bake for about 20 minutes. Once it is ready, it becomes a hot, rich and gooey dessert. You’ve gotta try it. And the best part is that it is gluten and dairy free so both my taste buds and body was in heaven! Did you know, this cake comes in dark decadence, milk chocolate brownie and vegan dark chocolate?

I was impressed that Hot Cakes Confections catered to special diets – gluten free, dairy free and even vegan.
